Firstly, a big thank you to those people who helped make our Kingscote Show pop-up kiosk fundraiser for our Cambodia projects a success again on the weekend. We had an enthusiastic band of helpers on the day and in the lead-up to the event and also some very generous contributors of the much-loved home-made goodies that people came from far and wide to purchase.

After a bit of number crunching by our very efficient treasurer yesterday I'm delighted to be able to report that the grand total profit for the day was on the far side of $5,100 which greatly exceeded my expectations. "Keep the change" and "here's an extra donation" were common phrases heard throughout the day and it's a terrific reminder of the generosity of the human spirit, especially in these uncertain times.

So thanks again for your ongoing support of these very important projects that benefit some of the poorest families on the planet in their time of greatest need.
