Good afternoon everyone. Just a quick shout out to our band of dedicated volunteers who pitched in with the recent Kangaroo Island Racing carnival clean-ups in aid of our Cambodian humanitarian projects.

We had an amazing participation rate across the three days of the event and consequently finished the job in record time, whilst raising some impressive funds for our activities on the ground in Andong and Oddar Meanchey slum villages.

The combination of the fee the Racing Club pays us for our services, along with the proceeds of the 10c refund containers that we sort out at the clean ups, will inject over $3200 into our Cambodia projects working account.

To put this into perspective this amount of money will just about cover the nutritious meals we serve to each and every one of our 1200 slum village students at our two schools for an entire month. For most of these kids it's the only proper meal they will have for the day so it's vital for their health and also concentration levels in the classrooms.
