Kingscote Show yields aplenty for Cambodia projects
I'd like to share some awesome news with you today about the proceeds raised for our Supporting Cambodia in-country projects at this year's Kingscote Show, our biggest single fundraiser for the year.
I'm delighted to be able to announce that the tally topped nearly $4,000 at the end of the day, which is a fantastic result and will have a huge impact in Andong and Oddar Meanchey villages.
To put it into perspective this will enable us to provide nutritious meals to every one of our 1200 slum village kids for over six weeks or keep 10 of our dedicated teachers in the classroom for upto a month.
None of this would have been possible without a broad level of very generous support from far and wide so on behalf of the village families and our devoted team on the ground I would like to say a big 'akun' (thanks in Khmer) to everyone who made this year's show fundraiser such a great success.
Thanks again for your ongoing support and encouragement.
We would love for you to consider partnering with us in an array of great projects across two of Cambodia's poorest provinces by making a tax deductible donation today (or any day). You can contribute directly into our Australian working account ‘Supporting Cambodia’ BSB: 015-600 Account: 1967 91878 (Please include your name and email address in the transaction for a tax receipt) or with a credit card on our donation page.
Many thanks,
Rob
